• Wake up to a sunrise date — bring coffee and bagels and drive to a scenic spot in the dark.
• Have a scary movie marathon.
• Visit the library and pick a film. You’re bound to pick up a great classic and it’s free!
• Go geocaching.
• Spend $10 at an arcade.
• Pick up a local newspaper and do whatever is suggested on the events page.
• Go to a movie-in-the-park event.
• Take a $5 bill and go yard sale shopping on a Saturday morning.
• Flip a coin to pick a restaurant or drink spot. Start at a random location, and, at each turn, flip the coin to decide right or left. Flip five to 10 times to pick your final destination.
