Freelance/Contributing Writers

Amour Creole is a growing magazine and we’re look for few good writers. We’re looking for freelance/contributing writers for health, entertainment, book reviews, professional spotlight, and finance.

Requirements:

• Ability to write clearly and concisely
• AP Style knowledge is a MUST
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Experience in magazine, newspaper or online journalism
• Telecommuting OK

Travel Editor

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, writing, editing, assigning stories to freelance writers and meeting deadlines. A bachelor’s degree in Journalism or English is required, and solid experience in the editorial field.

Stylist

The stylist is responsible for overseeing all aspects of photoshoots including but not limited to models, make-up artists, hair stylist, photographer and clothes for the shoot.

Culture Editor

The Culture section includes books, art, profiles, and food. The Culture Editor is responsible for writing, editing, assigning stories to freelance writers, and meeting magazine deadlines. Requirements

• B.A. in Journalism or English
• Experience in the editorial field
• AP Style knowledge is a MUST
• Interest in Haitian culture
• Live in Boston or surrounding area
