Artists for Haiti: Millions Raised for Art

Jennifer Aniston, Ben Stiller, John McEnroe fork over cash for art Meet the Parents star Ben Stiller tapped his Hollywood connections and raised $13.7 million for initiatives in Haiti. On September 22, Stiller hosted Artists for Haiti a charity art auction at the New York auction house Christie’s.     “[People need to understand] how much need there is still,” Stiller said in an interview a few days before the auction, “and how devastating the earthquake was.” The actor says he doesn’t know much about art but was eager to raise substantial sums for Haiti.

Jason Derulo Releases “It Girl”

Derulo on “America’s Got Talent” and at “The Teen Choice Awards” The next celebrity to grace the cover of Amour Creole, Jason Derulo, just released his latest single – “It Girl.” This is the second track from Derulo’s upcoming album Future History, which will be released by Beluga Heights/Warner Bros. Records on September 27.     The Miami-born 21-year-old performed on America’s Got Talent and at The Teen Choice Awards on this month, and was nominated for two 2011 Teen Choice Awards including “Choice Music: Male Artist.”   Amour Creole posted the video for “It Girl” below, so check it out and tell us what you think! The music video was directed by Colin Tilley, who has lensed clips for Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Usher, Diddy, and Ciara, and has been nominated for three 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. The video features actress Tika Sumpter (Gossip Girl, The Game).   The video for “Don’t Wanna Go Home” racked up nearly 375 million total views and the song spent five consecutive weeks in the Top 10 at Pop radio.
