EstherLafontant, Publisher and Editorial Director, has been a model, actress, and an accountant, but her biggest passion in life is to help other people, especially those less fortunate. Haitian-born, Esther emphasizes, “Haiti will always be my home. For as long as I can remember it’s always been in my heart to give back to Haiti. I realize that, by myself, I can only touch so many, but with others there is no limit to the kind of impact we can make”.

Our Philosophy
Esther Lafontant and Jourdan Wittly see Amour Creole as a window to the Haitian culture, projecting a more positive and truthful image than is normally seen in the general media. They feel strongly that, “Haiti is a very beautiful country with powerful potential. The Haitian culture and history is one of a kind, and it is up to us to tell our story in a way that will uplift our nation, not diminish it.”
Through Amour Creole, we will find our collective voice as Haitians and use it to help raise funds to build schools, health care centers, shelters and improve the overall economic situation in Haiti. Amour Creole Magazine presents an opportunity for every Haitian who would like to see Haiti move forward, bringing us together as a cohesive nation. Amour Creole Magazine is the people’s magazine and we feel very blessed to be involved with it. We hope you feel the same.
